Angie Barrie

Angie is a Senior Consultant with the Pacific Northwest client development & account management team based in the Seattle office. Her role at Watson Wyatt is to help companies evaluate and develop human resource initiatives that fulfill business objectives and meet the needs of employees and management.

Angie offers a broad background in human capital consulting, executive search and employee benefit administration. She joined Watson Wyatt from Right Management Consultants, where she was a sales executive in the areas of organizational consulting and career transition services. Her current and past clients include such companies as Amazon.com, Amgen (formerly Immunex), AT&T Wireless, Boeing, Eddie Bauer, Itron, J.R. Simplot, Micron Technologies, Nordstrom, Safeco, T-Mobile and Weyerhaeuser.

Prior to joining Right Management Consultants, Angie spent seven years in the executive search arena partnering with her clients on a retained basis. Her executive search practice consisted of senior level positions, specifically in the technology, financial services, manufacturing and consumer products industries. Before entering the search field, Angie worked for Hilton Hotels Corporation as an Employee Benefits Manager in Chicago and was responsible for all aspects of the union and non-union employee benefit & compensation programs.

As a native to the Northwest, Angie received a Bachelor of Arts, Business Administration, from Washington State University. She and her husband live in Newcastle with their two children. She is a graduate of the 2005/06 Leadership Eastside Class and currently serves as a Team Advisor. Angie is on the board for the PNW Human Resources Strategic Forum and a board member for KidsQuest Children's Museum in Bellevue, WA.
